We are seeking multiple proactive and resilient SEN Teaching Assistants to join a mainstream school in Brent. This dynamic and rewarding opportunity supports pupils with a range of additional needs across Key Stages 3–5, offering potential for additional appointments for experienced SEN support staff.
Responsibilities
- Provide in-class support for pupils with Special Educational Needs.
- Work closely with teachers to adapt learning and ensure accessibility.
- Deliver targeted interventions on a 1:1 and small group basis.
- Support pupils' social, emotional, and behavioural development.
- Implement behaviour strategies and de-escalation techniques.
- Build positive, supportive relationships with pupils.
- Contribute to EHCP targets, support plans, and progress tracking.
- Work collaboratively with staff, parents, and external professionals.
Essential Qualifications & Experience
- Experience working with children or young people with SEN.
