How to prepare for a job interview at Teach Now Limited

Know Your Stuff

Make sure you brush up on your knowledge about autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and how it affects children's behaviour. Familiarise yourself with strategies for establishing routines and de-escalating challenging situations, as this will show that you're prepared and understand the needs of the child you'll be supporting.

Show Your Compassion

During the interview, let your genuine passion for helping children shine through. Share personal anecdotes or experiences where you've made a positive impact on a child's learning or behaviour. This will help the interviewers see that you’re not just qualified, but also truly care about the role.

Team Player Vibes

Since you'll be working closely with teachers and other staff, highlight your ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team. Prepare examples of how you've collaborated in previous roles, especially in a classroom setting, to demonstrate that you can contribute positively to their supportive environment.

Ask Smart Questions

At the end of the interview, don’t forget to ask insightful questions about the school’s approach to special educational needs. This shows your interest in the role and helps you gauge if the school’s values align with yours. Plus, it gives you a chance to learn more about the support systems in place for both students and staff.
