A welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Barnet is looking to appoint three Learning Support Assistants to join its dedicated support team from September 2026.

Responsibilities
- Supporting students in lessons across a range of curriculum subjects
- Working one-to-one and with small groups to reinforce learning
- Helping students with SEND and additional learning needs access the curriculum
- Promoting positive behaviour, confidence and independence
- Assisting teachers with classroom resources and learning activities
- Supporting students’ organisation, study skills and emotional wellbeing
- Contributing to a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment
- Working collaboratively with teaching and pastoral teams

Essential Requirements
- GCSE English and Maths (Grade 4/C or above)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
- Knowledge of ADHD, Autism, Dyslexia and Dyspraxia
Desirable
- A degree (completed or in progress)
- Experience working with children or young people through tutoring, coaching, mentoring, youth work or volunteering
- An interest in teaching or another education-related career
- Knowledge of SEND (training can be provided)
