Teach Now is recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and high-achieving secondary school in Hammersmith & Fulham seeking a talented PE Teacher to join its team from September 2026. This part-time opportunity is ideal for an experienced teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking to develop within a supportive and well-resourced school.
You will teach engaging Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 PE lessons while encouraging students to embrace teamwork, healthy competition and active lifestyles both inside and outside the classroom.
Responsibilities- Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality PE lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Inspire students of all abilities to participate and achieve in sport and physical education
- Assess progress and use data to support student development
- Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment where every student feels encouraged to succeed
- Promote excellent behaviour, teamwork and respect
- Contribute to extracurricular clubs, school fixtures and sporting events
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the wider school community
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Experience teaching PE in a UK secondary school
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Ability to motivate, challenge and inspire students of all abilities
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- A genuine passion for sport, wellbeing and student achievement
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
- ECTs with relevant teaching placements are encouraged to apply
