Teach Now is seeking an accomplished KS2 Teacher for a long-term opportunity in Harrow from September.
This role is ideal for a teacher who enjoys the balance of academic challenge and pastoral development that makes Key Stage 2 such a rewarding phase.
You will be expected to establish ambitious standards while creating a classroom where pupils feel secure, motivated and ready to contribute.
As a KS2 Teacher, you will
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons across the primary curriculum
- Build strong progress in English and mathematics
- Use assessment to identify gaps and provide appropriate challenge
- Differentiate effectively for pupils with SEND and differing abilities
- Maintain clear routines and positive behaviour
- Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants and phase colleagues
- Prepare pupils confidently for their next stage of learning
We are looking for
- QTS and recent UK primary teaching experience
- Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum
- Evidence of securing good pupil progress
- Confident classroom and behaviour management
- Effective assessment and differentiation skills
- A collaborative and professional approach
- Formally recognised teaching qualification
