KS2 Teacher – Location: Greenwich, London.

Teach Now is seeking a motivated and capable KS2 Teacher for a full‑time, permanent position at a thriving primary school in Greenwich.

Starting in September 2026, this role is ideal for a teacher who enjoys delivering engaging lessons, developing confident learners and working as part of a forward‑thinking staff team.

The Role

As a KS2 Teacher, you will take responsibility for a Key Stage 2 class, delivering high‑quality teaching across the curriculum.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging KS2 lessons across the primary curriculum.
  • Promote high standards in literacy, numeracy and independent learning.
  • Use assessment data to plan targeted support and challenge.
  • Create a purposeful, inclusive and well‑managed classroom.
  • Work effectively with teaching assistants and phase colleagues.
  • Support pupils’ confidence, resilience and personal development.
  • Build positive relationships with families and contribute to school life.

Qualifications

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience teaching KS2 or strong recent primary teaching experience.
  • Secure understanding of the KS2 curriculum and assessment expectations.
  • Strong classroom management and a positive approach to behaviour.
  • Ability to plan engaging lessons that meet a range of learning needs.
  • Commitment to inclusion, safeguarding and pupil progress.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
