Part-Time | Temporary Role

£16–£17 per hour

Hours: 3:30pm – 6:00pm

Start Date: May 2026

Key Responsibilities
  • Support children aged 3–5 within the after-school club setting
  • Help supervise and engage children through play‑based activities
  • Assist children during snack and eating times
  • Encourage positive behaviour, social interaction, and independence
  • Ensure children are safe, happy, and actively engaged throughout the session
  • Work closely with experienced staff to maintain a nurturing environment
  • Support the smooth running of daily activities and routines
Qualifications
  • Previous experience working within an EYFS or childcare setting
  • A fun, energetic, and caring personality
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to build positive relationships with children and staff
  • Passion for supporting children's development through play
  • Relevant childcare or Early Years qualification desirable
