Teach Now are seeking passionate and ambitious Special Educational Needs Assistants to work in Primary Schools in Enfield from January 2023. Many of the schools we work with range from 1 form entry schools to 5 form entry schools, faith schools, private schools and mainstream schools. This is an amazing opportunity for anyone in the careworker, healthcare field looking for a change in career, sector or looking for flexible work, whether it is one day a week or 5 days a week.

Many of the SEN assistants we currently work with have worked in numerous schools and have been given the chance to experience different year groups, understand and learn and work with children with a variety of Special Needs as well as gain and enhance a variety of skills such as behaviour management and Team Teach.

The school are looking for individuals that:

  • Are enthusiastic, proactive, and are able to use their own initiative;
  • Possibly looking to pursue a career in teaching and undertake their PGCE;
  • Are dedicated and passionate about education and are willing to learn and understand the current curriculum;
  • Have excellent references;
  • Have strong behaviour management skills;
  • Are eligible to work in the UK and have a DBS check or happy to complete one.
