Teach Now is looking for a SEND Higher Level TA to join one of its primary schools in Edmonton, Enfield. This is a full‑time role that begins in September 2022 and runs until the end of the academic year. The chosen candidate must be able to completely commit to the role as consistency is key. You will be very much supported in your role and will receive adequate training.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a class or a group of children effectively.
- Assist and assess a range of pupils, including those working below national curriculum level.
- Prepare resources according to the children’s individual targets and their EHCPs.
- Adapt plans and differentiate activities to cater for the different learning styles and needs of all students.
- Liaise with multi‑professionals and commit for the duration of the placement.
Candidate Profile
- Excellent working knowledge of the National Curriculum.
- Experience working with SEND children.
- Creative and dynamic in approach to teaching and learning.
- Honest, compassionate and happy to complete training to further develop knowledge and understanding in education.
- Enhanced DBS certificate or willing to complete one.
