Teach Now are looking for a 1:1 TA to join one of their one-form entry Primary schools in Enfield on a fulltime basis. This is a small and beautiful mainstream school in the heart of Enfield and the role will start immediately and it will be on a long term basis, for the duration of the whole academic year. The school has been known for its diversity, inclusion and for their excellent training and development scheme. Teach Now have been working closely with the school for years and we have a great relationship with them.

You will be working with a Y2 boy who requires additional support in the classroom. Occasionally, you will be in charge of running small group activities to support other children in the classroom. The boy has a very pleasant personality and he is very funny. He gets along with his peers and all adults in the school.

The successful candidate must demonstrate the following:

  • Understanding of SEN
  • Experience working with children with SEN
  • Experience working in a Primary School or a similar environment
  • Ability to manage children’s behaviour
  • Ability to be flexible and proactive
  • Ability to work with a team
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to motivate, inspire and engage children
