Job Description
As a Level 3 Nursery Nurse, you will play a vital role in supporting the EYFS team in delivering high-quality care and education to children aged 3 to 5 years old. Your responsibilities will include planning and implementing age-appropriate activities, assisting with daily routines, promoting positive behaviour, and providing a safe and engaging learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the EYFS team to plan and deliver a stimulating and inclusive curriculum that meets the needs and interests of the children.
- Create a nurturing and supportive environment where children can learn, develop social skills, and explore their individual interests.
- Support children with personal care tasks, ensuring their well-being and safety at all times.
- Observe and assess children’s progress, providing feedback to the EYFS team and parents/guardians.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents/guardians, and colleagues, promoting effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements
- Minimum Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years Education.
- Experience working as a Nursery Nurse or in a similar role within an Early Years setting.
- Sound knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Ability to create a nurturing and stimulating environment that supports children’s development.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A passion for providing high-quality care and education to young children.
