Overview
Early Years Practitioner (Level 3 Qualified) – Hillingdon, London. Location: Hillingdon (Hayes), London. Start Date: September 2026. Salary is based on experience and qualifications, with higher rates for candidates with significant experience or qualifications. This is a full-time, temporary, long-term role in a welcoming primary school’s Reception team for the full academic year.
Responsibilities
- Support learning across all areas of the EYFS curriculum
- Deliver engaging play-based and adult-led activities
- Promote early phonics, language, literacy and numeracy skills
- Observe and record childrens progress
- Help create stimulating indoor and outdoor learning environments
- Support childrens wellbeing, independence and personal care where appropriate
- Build positive relationships with families and colleagues
- Promote safeguarding and inclusive practice at all times
Ideal Candidate / Qualifications
- A full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (essential)
- Recent EYFS experience
- Good knowledge of the EYFS Framework and child development
- A caring, enthusiastic and proactive approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A commitment to safeguarding and supporting every child to succeed
