Teach Now are currently seeking a highly organized and proactive Primary School Administrator to join a lovely Primary school based in this leafy area of Ealing. As the first point of contact for parents, visitors, and staff, the ideal candidate will have excellent communication and customer service skills, as well as strong administrative skills.
Responsibilities:
- Greeting visitors and dealing with their enquiries in a professional and friendly manner
- Answering phone calls and responding to emails, ensuring messages are passed on to the relevant person
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date student records and attendance data
- Supporting the school’s senior leadership team with administrative tasks, including arranging meetings and taking minutes
- Coordinating school events, such as parent-teacher meetings and school trips
- Managing school finances, including processing payments and maintaining accurate records
- Ensuring compliance with school policies and procedures
- Providing administrative support to teaching staff as required
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a school administrative role or similar
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to deal with a range of stakeholders
- Strong administrative and organizational skills, with a keen eye for detail
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable with learning new software systems
- Knowledge of SIMS or other school management systems is desirable but not essential
