Role Responsibilities
- Teach Science to students in Years 7–11 with a range of learning abilities, from Year 4/5 curriculum levels through to GCSE.
- Adapt lessons and learning resources to meet individual learning needs and learning styles.
- Deliver engaging, practical and inclusive Science lessons that inspire confidence and curiosity.
- Work collaboratively with a dedicated multidisciplinary team to support students’ academic, social and emotional development.
- Create a positive, nurturing classroom environment where students feel safe, respected and motivated to learn.
Ideal Candidate
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Has experience teaching students with SEN, particularly those with Autism.
- Can confidently adapt the curriculum to support learners working at different academic levels.
- Is patient, compassionate and committed to inclusive education.
- Has strong classroom management skills and a creative approach to teaching.
- Is passionate about helping every student achieve their personal best.
