Teach Now are recruiting on behalf of one of the best secondary schools in North London for Cover Supervisors to join their staffing team on a long term basis. This role includes being the sole responsible adult in a classroom, supervising children as they carry out tasks that have already been planned. If you have a specialism in a particular subject or are confident in delivering lessons, this would be highly desirable and see you more likely to secure this position. Relevant recent experience in a secondary school or a setting with similarly aged children is essential.
The school are looking for individuals that are:
- Confident and experienced
- Able to communicate effectively as part of a team
- Able to commit for the duration of the placement
- A minimum of 1 month working in a UK classroom environment within the last two years
- Honest and compassionate
- Happy to complete training to further develop their knowledge and understanding in education
- DBS checked or happy to complete one
