Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) - Primary School. Location: Haringey, London. Pay: £100-£120 per day. Contract: Full Time, Temporary. Start Date: 1 September 2026. Bring Confidence, Creativity and Calm to the Classroom.

Teach Now is seeking an accomplished Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) for a full-time temporary primary role in Haringey starting this September. We're looking for someone who can be the teacher's right hand while also confidently taking the lead when needed.

  • Leading planned lessons, groups and learning activities.
  • Providing class cover when required.
  • Delivering focused interventions to close learning gaps.
  • Adapting activities for pupils with different learning needs.
  • Supporting positive behaviour and emotional regulation.
  • Recording progress and sharing useful feedback with teaching staff.

About you:

You'll be an experienced primary TA or HLTA with sound curriculum knowledge and the confidence to manage a classroom. HLTA status or an appropriate Level 4 qualification is desirable, although strong practical experience operating at HLTA level will also be valued.
