Some of the most important learning happens in Key Stage 1 – when children begin to see themselves as readers, writers, mathematicians and independent learners. Teach Now is looking for a skilled KS1 Teacher to take on a full-time, long-term role in an inclusive Enfield primary school from September. The school needs a KS1 Teacher who combines high expectations with warmth, structure and creativity.

The role:

  • Delivering the KS1 curriculum through clear, engaging teaching
  • Providing strong phonics and early reading instruction
  • Using assessment effectively to identify gaps and next steps
  • Differentiating learning for pupils with a range of abilities and SEND
  • Maintaining positive behaviour and consistent routines
  • Working collaboratively with Teaching Assistants and phase colleagues
  • Developing productive relationships with families

You should have:

  • UK QTS
  • Successful KS1 teaching experience
  • Strong curriculum and assessment knowledge
  • Confidence teaching systematic synthetic phonics
  • Effective behaviour-management skills
  • A reflective, organised and collaborative approach
