We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Teaching Assistant for someone with experience, or maybe a person who is looking to challenge themselves and further develop their skills. We are looking to enhance our team with an enthusiastic individual who is passionate about children and our school, bringing ideas and energy to ensure that all of our pupils flourish.
The role will involve supporting children in our Reception classes, to enjoy their time at school and make good progress in their learning. We expect everyone to be totally committed and willing to go the extra mile every day to make our pupils successful and be actively involved in all aspects of school life. You will be joining a fantastic team who enjoy working in a superb school with an inspiring learning environment.
Supporting class teachers, the successful applicant will ensure that our children experience excellent learning and have high expectations of what they can achieve. If you have been trained in teaching Read, Write Inc, or any other accredited phonics scheme, that would be brilliant! We are also looking for someone with EYFS/Reception years experience, with a great understanding of the Foundation Stage.

Stanton Cross is a new school in the heart of the Stanton Cross development in Wellingborough. We deliver an enriched, relevant and engaging curriculum which enables children to become knowledgeable, adaptable and confident to reach their own academic potential.
Eventually, we will educate 420 children in our state-of-the-art building but as we grow, we are opening to one-year group at a time. We currently have two classes in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 and one class in Year 3. We are a very diverse school with a third of our children speaking more than one language which makes our school a vibrant place to be.
