We are looking for someone with experience, or maybe a person who is looking to challenge themselves and further develop their skills. The role will involve supporting children across the year groups, to enjoy their time at school and make good progress in their learning. We expect everyone to be totally committed and willing to go the extra mile every day to make our pupils successful and be actively involved in all aspects of school life. We are looking for someone with experience of working with children in an education setting. Stanton Cross is a new school in the heart of the Stanton Cross development in Wellingborough. We deliver an enriched, relevant and engaging curriculum which enables children to become knowledgeable, adaptable and confident to reach their own academic potential. Eventually, we will educate 420 children in our state‑of‑the‑art building but as we grow, we are opening one year group at a time. We currently have two classes in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 and one class in Year 3. We are a very diverse school with a third of our children speaking more than one language which makes our school a vibrant place to be.
Stanton Cross is part of Northampton Primary Academy Trust (NPAT). NPAT aims to ‘Achieve Extraordinary Things’ through providing educational excellence; creating opportunities and enriching lives. This applies to our fabulous staff as well as our children. The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and safer recruitment practice. An enhanced DBS check is required for all successful applicants and references will be requested for shortlisted applicants prior to interview and will form part of the interview process. The successful applicant will be expected to have two satisfactory references and undertake a medical questionnaire.
