Overview: Work across the whole school from Nursery to Year 6 and cover the SEN Unit with the aim to specialise in one phase.
Responsibilities:
- Cover class teachers
- Work with class teachers to raise the learning and attainment of pupils
- Promote pupils’ independence, self-esteem and social inclusion
- Give support to pupils, individually or in groups, so they can access the curriculum, take part in learning and experience a sense of achievement

Safeguarding and recruitment: The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and safer recruitment practice. Kingsthorpe Grove Primary School is a forward thinking, innovative town primary school with 480 children on roll. We have a Nursery and two SEN provisions, one to support students with ASD and one to support schools who have students with SEMH needs.
