We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to support children in our Reception classes, ensuring they enjoy their time at school and make good progress in learning.

Responsibilities

  • Support class teachers in delivering lesson plans and classroom activities.
  • Ensure pupils experience excellent learning and have high expectations of what they can achieve.
  • Be actively involved in all aspects of school life and support pupils’ overall development.

Qualifications and Experience

  • EYFS/Reception experience and a strong understanding of the Foundation Stage.
  • Training in teaching Read, Write Inc or any other accredited phonics scheme is desirable.
  • Passion for supporting children and commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion.
  • Ability to establish positive, supportive relationships with children and parents.
  • Patient, calm, resilient with a positive attitude and a sense of humour.
