A great opportunity has become available at the academy to work within our thriving Art department as an Art Technician. We are looking for an enthusiastic, innovative individual who will provide sound support and assistance to staff and students within the Curriculum Area of Art and Design.
The main duties of this role will include the preparation of materials for lessons, assisting students with their work and ensuring that they are working in a safe environment. The post holder will be able to demonstrate the ability to work on their own initiative as well as being an excellent team player. The post holder must have up-to-date knowledge and experience of working to Health and Safety requirements and ideally have a background in Art. Furthermore, experience of working in a busy 11-19 school environment is desirable.
