Keep Education is looking to recruit Nursery Nurses and Assistants to work in Nurseries across Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire. Keep Education is a busy and growing agency with a high demand for early years staff, as a result, we are able to offer a wide range of opportunities with regular work available and immediate starts for suitable candidates. This role is ideal for those seeking flexible work, consistent placements, or the chance to gain experience across a variety of early years settings. You will be welcomed into supportive environments, working alongside experienced managers, room leaders and friendly staff teams.
The successful candidate(s) will be well supported by the Manager and their Deputy, as well as the qualified room leaders and staff within each setting. This is a great opportunity for any candidate with experience working with younger children who are wishing to further their experience and any future career within this busy and rewarding industry.
To be successful in this role, you will be able to:
- Ensure that the children are happy, settled and well cared for
- Work closely with and assist the Key Workers of children within the nursery setting
- Collaborate as part of a team to ensure that each child’s individual needs are met
- Work within the Nursery setting to ensure effective and appropriate communication with parents, carers and members of staff
- Adhere to Food Hygiene and all Health and Safety standards
- Assist with all activities in the nursery as requested by senior staff
- Respect and maintain the working environment and resources
You will also be required to have:
- A current Child Only Enhanced DBS on the update service
- Educated to GCSE standard including Maths and English
- Proven experience working with Children
- NVQ Level 3 or Level 2 in Childcare is preferable
