About Teach First

Teach First is an education charity that trains brilliant teachers, equips school leaders and campaigns for educational justice. Since 2003, we’ve reached over 1.5 million pupils facing disadvantage.

Driven by the knowledge that education transforms lives, we’ve trained over 20,000 teachers to work in the schools that need them most, changing the outcome for pupils living in poverty.

We are building a movement of Change Makers and Change Partners, making sure every child, no matter their background, gets the opportunities they deserve.

About the role

Train to become a teacher, earn a salary and work towards a PGCE – all while becoming a Change Maker in classrooms and communities where you're needed most.

Some subjects are open, but placements are only available in areas with the greatest need — so you’ll need to be flexible about where you teach.

We’ll match you with a school anywhere in England, based on availability.

It takes around 10 minutes to get started.

You’ll need:

  • Your A-levels (or non-UK equivalent)
