Are you a qualified Level 2 Teaching Assistant? Are you looking for your next opportunity to utilise your skills further this new academic year? Teach Agency is currently seeking to appoint an excellent Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join our client’s welcoming and supportive Primary School based in Northstowe, Cambridgeshire. This role will commence ASAP on an ongoing contract basis with the possibility of being made permanent at a future date. We are looking for an outstanding practitioner who can provide high‑quality support for teaching and learning in the classroom alongside the school’s dedicated team of staff. The successful candidate should demonstrate enthusiasm and excitement.

Responsibilities

  • Support the classroom teacher.
  • Manage appropriate learning environments and resources.
  • Assess the needs of pupils and support those needs appropriately.
  • Provide feedback to the class teacher on the progress and achievement of pupils.
  • Provide supervision at unstructured times.

Requirements

  • Ideally a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification.
  • Previous experience working in a primary school in a similar role.
