Teach Agency are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and suitably experienced Year 1 Teacher to join their client’s thriving Primary School based in Cambridgeshire. Key Stage 1 is a valued and developing part of the school, and the successful candidate will be working within a supportive and welcoming team, alongside experienced practitioners who are passionate about early learning and child development. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dedicated and nurturing school environment that is committed to providing high-quality learning experiences for young children.

The successful candidate will be expected to fully contribute to the planning and delivery of engaging lessons and schemes of work, as well as participate in teaching and learning CPD opportunities as required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fully contribute to the planning and delivery of engaging lessons and schemes of work.
  • Participate in teaching and learning CPD opportunities as required.
  • Deliver high-quality phonics, literacy, and numeracy teaching.
  • Carry out assessment and tracking in line with school and statutory expectations.
  • Maintain excellent classroom management, ensuring pupils feel safe, supported, and valued.
Qualifications
  • Hold a relevant degree and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Have an up-to-date CV.
  • Be entitled to work in the UK.
  • Hold an Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for one.
