We are seeking enthusiastic, flexible and committed supply cover teachers to work in secondary schools in and around the Huntingdon area. These roles will commence at the start of the new 2025/26 academic year in September 2025. This role offers flexibility with both day‑to‑day and long‑term assignments available, depending on your availability and experience.
Role & Responsibilities
- Supervising classes during teacher absences, ensuring students remain engaged in pre‑set work.
- Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment.
- Supporting students with their learning and following school policies.
- Working flexibly across a variety of subjects and year groups.
Requirements
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to manage a classroom effectively.
- A passion for education and supporting young people.
- Previous experience working with young people (preferred but not essential).
- A valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
