Our client, a "Good" Ofsted rated nursery, is currently looking for a Level 2 Nursery Nurse to join them ASAP. This nursery offers a warm and friendly welcome to all children, with capacity up to 92 places, covering ages 0–5 years.

Person Specification

  • Must be available full time – Monday to Friday.
  • Must hold a CACHE Level 2 in childcare. An Early Years degree would be ideal, but not essential.
  • Good academic background – particularly in English & Maths.
  • Experience working within the early years (0–5yrs) is essential.
  • Must be open to working in the baby room, toddler room, and pre‑school as well as some elements of personal care.
  • Must be able to maintain a safe, clean and secure learning environment, including feeding, changing, and general hygiene.
  • Must be open to working with children in indoor & outdoor learning.
  • Pay from £20–£21.50 per hour.
  • Must be able to work between 8:30 a.m. – 6 p.m.

The Role

  • Being a key person carrying out all related responsibilities in building relationships with a small group of children and their families in accordance with the EYFS.
  • Promoting positive relationships with parents, children and colleagues.
  • Ensuring health, safety and wellbeing of the children at all times.
