Our client, a "Good" Ofsted rated nursery, offers a warm and friendly welcome to all and has capacity up to 92 places for children aged 0-5 years. We are looking for a Level 3 Nursery Nurse to join them ASAP.
Person Specification
- Must be available full time – Monday to Friday
- Must hold a CACHE Level 3 in childcare
- Early Years Degree would be ideal, but not essential
- Good academic background – particularly in English & Maths
- Experience working within the Early Years (0‑5yrs) is essential
- Open to working in the baby, toddler and pre‑school rooms, including some personal care duties
- Must be able to maintain a safe, clean and secure learning environment
- Involved in feeding, changing & general hygiene
- Open to working with children both indoor & outdoor
- Pay from £17‑£18 per hour
- Must be able to work between 8:30 am – 6:00 pm
Role
- Key person carrying out all related responsibilities and building relationships with a small group of children and their families according to the EYFS
- Promoting positive relationships with parents, children and colleagues
- Ensuring the health, safety and wellbeing of the children at all times
