This role requires the person to work weekend days 06:00 - 18:00 Friday, Saturday & Sunday.
TE Connectivity's Manufacturing/Production Teams transform raw materials into finished goods and ensure component flow. They perform changeovers and setups according to production schedule, perform quality checks according to established processes and document the results as required by our quality procedures. Every team member is responsible for maintaining housekeeping and organization of the work area as well as following TE Connectivity's EH&S policies and procedures.
As a production operator, contribute to the manufacture of Wire & Cable products in accordance with the company Quality standards as well as Health and Safety guidelines. Work within the team performing the various stages of production as defined by the Tyco Electronics Operating Advantage (Lean Manufacturing), Quality, Safety, General Standards and Company Procedures. Work to a manufacturing schedule and notify supervision of any issues that may affect the completion of the schedule. Prepare and complete all documentation accurately, legibly and in a timely manner. Report any deviations to supervision promptly and assist in resolving non-compliances where necessary. Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes, procedures and quality within the department. To comply with training procedures and keep abreast of updates to General Standards.
Typically requires 1-2 years of related work experience. Completion of high school or equivalent is usually required.
