Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Manufacturing/Production Teams transform raw materials into finished goods and ensure component flow. They perform changeovers and setups according to the production schedule, perform quality checks according to established processes, and document the results as required by our quality procedures. Every team member is responsible for maintaining housekeeping and organization of the work area as well as following TE Connectivity's EH&S policies and procedures.

Role

Production Operator Materials & Compounding – Permanent Contract, Full-time. Night Shift Position: Monday to Thursday 10pm–6am, Friday 6pm–12am. Shift allowance: 33%.

Responsibilities

  • Work within the team performing the various stages of production as defined by the Tyco Electronics Operating Advantage (Lean Manufacturing), Quality, Safety, General Standards and Company Procedures.
  • Follow the manufacturing schedule and notify supervision of any issues that may affect completion of the schedule.
  • Prepare and complete all documentation accurately, legibly and in a timely manner.
  • Report any deviations to supervision promptly and assist in resolving non‑compliances where necessary.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes, procedures and quality within the department.
  • Comply with training procedures and keep abreast of updates to General Standards.
