Job Overview
TE Connectivity’s Manufacturing/Production Teams play a key role in transforming raw materials into finished goods and ensuring smooth component flow throughout the production process. Team members are expected to perform changeovers and setups according to the production schedule, conduct quality checks in accordance with established procedures, and accurately document results per quality requirements. Maintaining a clean and organized work area, while adhering to TE Connectivity’s Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) policies, is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain safe working practices in alignment with company standards.
- Select materials correctly using provided company documentation.
- Deliver materials to operational areas in a timely manner to meet customer expectations.
- Work efficiently to meet tight deadlines.
- Maintain good housekeeping practices; 5S knowledge is desirable.
- Operate production equipment to prepare and complete products. (Experience in compounding, extruding, and moulding is advantageous but not required.)
- Complete and file all required paperwork in accordance with system requirements.
- Work independently after training to consistently meet quality standards and production targets.
Further Responsibilities
- Notify supervisors and/or purchasing of material shortages.
- Review production plans and communicate any concerns or changes to ensure customer demands and shipping deadlines are met.
- Participate in daily team meetings to discuss plans and workloads.
- Effectively communicate with relevant departments to provide operational updates.
- Demonstrate flexibility by supporting other process departments as required.
