Job Overview
Sets up and operates machines and tools to perform various manufacturing or molding operations and maintains them to adhere to quality standards.
Job Requirements
- Monitoring the production machine equipment, setting up the machine, operating the machines as per the schedule, and writing/modifying the machine programs.
- Diagnosing the molding problems, giving suggestions to rectify them, creating prototypes to check the effectiveness of the molds, and doing precision corrections as per the dimensions.
- Facilitating the repair and preventive maintenance processes, monitoring the required paperwork, tracking the mechanical downtime, and escalating it to the supervisors.
- Inserting, changing, and maintaining the mold tool when required, following safety guidelines, company and department guidelines, and regulatory policies and procedures.
What Your Background Should Look Like
Typically requires a minimum of 2 years of related work experience. Completion of high school or equivalent is usually required.
