This Strategy Manager will report to the Strategy Director for the Industrial Solutions Segment and will work on the Segment’s global strategy. This position can be based in most locations in Europe, with travel expected to be less than 20% of the time to meet colleagues and clients, attend industry events, etc. This is an opportunity for a talented individual who wants to accelerate his or her career within a leading multinational corporation and build a career within strategy or line roles. As a member of the Industrial Solutions Strategy team, you will contribute to growth strategy, portfolio recommendations, competitive strategy, and business performance by working on strategic decisions and key business issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support development of robust strategic plan
  • Effectively translate business requests into well-defined problems
  • Collaborate with the Segment and with the Business Unit teams to solve complex business problems
  • Develop strategies and approaches to fulfill complex project assignments in creative and meaningful ways
  • Identify key trends across markets, industries, and competitors that affect our businesses
  • Analyze industry structure, competitive dynamics, market attractiveness, technology and regulatory trends; Project likely evolutions to inform strategy development
  • Create analytical models to address key business questions and translate output into clear stories
  • Lead the overall fact base creation and communication process
  • Contribute to the professional development of Analysts

Your Ideal Background:

  • Bachelor or master studies in a relevant field
  • Experience in strategy formulation and implementation within a complex organization
  • Experience in managing strategy and strategy implementation projects through their lifecycles
  • Experience working at a top tier General Management Consulting Firm and serving diversified industrials or high-tech Clients
  • Ability to structure and solve complex problems using a hypothesis-driven approach
  • Proficient in sourcing and analyzing complex data
  • Ability to architect and create insights through strategy tools, frameworks, and processes
  • Clear and concise oral and written communication in English
