We are looking for a Machine Shop Support team member to help maintain the efficient day-to-day operation of our machine shop. This hands-on role supports machinists and ensures equipment and the working environment are kept in good condition.
- Assist with routine maintenance tasks, including changing oils and coolant on machines
- Support machinists by following direction and assisting with shop floor activities
- Maintain cleanliness of the workshop by cleaning, tidying, and organising work areas
- Use your own initiative to identify and complete tasks that support the smooth running of the department
- Help ensure machines and equipment are kept in safe working order
- Dispose of waste materials and fluids in line with company procedures
- Contribute to a safe, efficient, and well-maintained working environment
