Overview
In this role you contribute to bridging product development and manufacturing, driving lean and Six Sigma initiatives to optimize processes, tooling and cost. You work with cross-functional teams to improve manufacturability, verify supplier capability, and deliver continuous improvement through data-driven methods. You engage in cost analysis, capex ROI evaluations, and tooling qualification to meet TE quality and production standards. This position offers exposure to diverse manufacturing technologies and opportunities to shape processes at scale within a global company.

Responsibilities
- Process Optimization: identify and improve manufacturing processes to reduce waste and boost productivity using lean and Six Sigma
- SAP Support: use SAP and troubleshoot issues in the manufacturing environment
- Continuous Improvement: lead and participate in data-driven improvement initiatives
- Product development: sustainment and value engineering of designs for manufacturability
- Cost Analysis: provide initial manufacturing cost estimates and review historical costs
- Investments: assess ROI on Capex initiatives and prepare CERs for required investments
Key requirements
- Master degree in mechanical/ mechatronics or similar engineering
- 3+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, manufacturing process setup and improvements
- Proficient with Office tools, especially Excel templates
