You will lead a team of skilled technicians, manage contractors, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive continuous improvements that enable smooth and uninterrupted operations across the facility. Your New Role:
- Oversee the smooth running and maintenance of buildings, equipment, utilities and site grounds
- Ensure a safe, functional and compliant working environment
- Develop and manage preventive and corrective maintenance programmes
- Reduce downtime and enhance equipment reliability across the site
- Coordinate and supervise external contractors and service partners
- Ensure quality delivery, cost efficiency and compliance with standards
- Maintain adherence to all environmental, health and safety regulations
- Support corporate sustainability and compliance goals
- Oversee critical utilities including electricity, water, HVAC, compressed air and more
- Ensure availability and reliability to support production activities
- Lead, mentor and develop a team of facility technicians
- Foster a culture of safety, ownership and continuous improvement
- Deliver site improvement initiatives such as space planning, energy‑efficiency upgrades and infrastructure enhancements
- Contribute to long‑term facility optimisation and sustainability
Your Ideal Background:
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field
- Experience in facilities or maintenance management, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Strong knowledge of EHS regulations, building systems, and utilities
- Proven experience supervising teams and managing vendors or contractors
- Excellent problem‑solving, organisational, and project‑management skills
- Effective communicator who can work collaboratively across departments and levels
