Overview: TE Connectivity Braintree Goods Receiving and Shipping Operator is responsible for managing the receipt, storage, and shipment of materials and products.

This role ensures inventory accuracy, timely processing of incoming and outgoing goods, compliance with company procedures, and maintenance of a safe and organised warehouse environment.

Job

Responsibilities: Receive incoming shipments and verify quantities against purchase orders, packing slips, and delivery documentation.

Inspect received goods for damage, defects, and compliance with specifications.

Liaise with Quality Control.

Record receipts accurately in the ERP inventory management system.

Label and store materials in designated warehouse locations.

Report discrepancies, shortages, or damaged goods to Purchasing and Quality departments.

Maintain receiving records and supporting documentation.

Maintain safe working practices supporting the company’s standards Deliver material to operational areas in a timely manner.

File and process paperwork within the area and in line with system requirements Prepare customer orders and internal transfers for shipment.

Verify products, quantities, and packaging requirements before despatch.

Generate shipping documentation, including packing lists, bills of lading, and carrier paperwork.

Coordinate shipments with freight carriers and logistics providers.

Ensure on-time shipment of finished goods and materials.

Track shipments and resolve delivery issues as needed.

Maintain accurate inventory records and transaction reporting.

Perform cycle counts and assist with physical inventory audits.

Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.

Ensure proper stock rotation and material handling practices.

Support material replenishment activities.
