The ERP Analyst is responsible for the administration, support, optimization, and continuous improvement of the EMAX ERP system across business functions including manufacturing, inventory management, purchasing, planning, logistics, sales, customer service, finance, and reporting. This role acts as the primary liaison between business users and technical resources to ensure the ERP solution supports operational objectives, data integrity, and process efficiency.
Your main tasks:
- ERP System Administration
- Maintain and support the EMAX ERP system and related applications.
- Configure ERP modules to meet business requirements.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues.
- Manage user access, security roles, and permissions.
- Coordinate ERP upgrades, patches, and testing activities with the system provider.
- Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Business Process Improvement
- Analyze current business processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with operations, manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, finance, sales and customer service teams to optimize workflow efficiency.
- Recommend and implement ERP system enhancements.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to ERP processes.
- User Support & Training
- Provide daily support to ERP users and resolve system-related issues.
- Investigate root causes of data and transaction errors.
- Develop training materials and conduct end-user training sessions.
- Attend team meetings, bringing valuable updates to management and colleagues.
- Serve as the first point of contact for ERP questions and support requests.
- Data Management & Reporting
- Review and ensure that data integrity across ERP master data is maintained including: Item masters, Bills of Material (BOMs), Routings, Suppliers, Customers, Inventory records.
- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and KPIs.
- Support data imports, exports, validation, and cleansing activities.
- Project Management
- Participate in ERP implementation, upgrade, and enhancement projects.
- Gather and document business requirements including alignment with TE Policies.
- Coordinate testing activities and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Work with software vendors and consultants to implement solutions.
- Support integration projects with other business systems.
- Manufacturing & Supply Chain Support
- Support forecasting, production planning, scheduling, inventory control, purchasing, and shop floor data capture within EMAX.
- Analyze ERP transaction flows impacting production efficiency and inventory accuracy.
- Assist in improving inventory management and material planning processes.
Your ideal profile:
- A bachelor’s degree in information systems, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field. Equivalent experience will be considered.
- 3–5+ years of ERP support, administration, or business systems analysis experience.
- Experience supporting manufacturing ERP systems.
- Experience with EMAX ERP is strongly preferred.
- Experience with data analysis, reporting tools, and SQL preferred.
- Strong understanding of ERP systems and business processes.
- Knowledge of: Manufacturing operations, Inventory management, Purchasing, Production planning, Finance and costing principles, Report writing and data analysis capabilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft 365 applications.
