We are looking for an engineering leader to develop high‑performing teams and drive safety, quality and continuous improvement across manufacturing value streams. The role focuses on setting strategy, leading complex projects and working across functions to deliver new products, improve performance and reduce cost, with a clear link between insight and business impact.
Your New Role
- Champion a strong safety culture, ensuring all activities prioritize safe working practices.
- Provide direct line management for Engineers within assigned Value Streams, fostering accountability, capability development, and a high‑performance, agile engineering organization.
- Develop and execute strategies for assigned Value Streams, focusing on increasing capacity, managing obsolescence, supporting new product introduction, improving quality, and reducing cost—all aligned with broader business objectives.
- Align day‑to‑day activities and project deliverables with long‑term strategic direction.
- Drive engineering excellence through the application of Six Sigma tools, A3 problem solving, and data‑driven decision‑making methodologies.
- Manage TEBIT projects end‑to‑end, including business case creation, financial justification, approvals, and monthly performance reconciliation.
- Oversee CAPEX projects and budgets, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to maximize operational and financial impact.
- Collaborate closely with Operations, EHS, Quality, Supply Chain, Product Engineering, PMO, and Product Management to deliver cross‑functional success.
- Ensure compliance with all safety standards, regulatory requirements, and internal corporate policies.
- Identify, evaluate, and mitigate risks across manufacturing operations.
- Enhance efficiency by improving manufacturing workflows, layouts, and resource utilization.
- Optimize end‑to‑end processes through robust monitoring, continuous improvement initiatives, and performance tracking.
Your Ideal Background
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience in controlling, project‑driven environments, or similar roles (typically 3+ years).
- Working knowledge of SAP and Power BI is desirable; training support is available for motivated learners.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities, with opportunities to continue developing these skills.
- Advanced analytical skills for identifying risks, uncovering opportunities, and translating insights into actionable recommendations.
