TE Connectivity's Continuous Improvement Teams design and implement programs and projects to improve products, services, or processes aligned with business strategies. They coach teams; establish program performance metrics; and establish process excellence supports.
What your background should look like:
- Coordinate and supervise the implementation of the TEOA (Tyco Electronics Operational Advantage) methodology.
- Comply with the requirements associated with the application of TEOA tools.
- Lead and supervise the application of some TEOA Tools.
- Carrying out and coordinating monthly factory metrics.
- Preparation and coordination of 6 Sigma and Lean projects.
- Training and coaching of TEOA.
- Management of “cost saving” projects.
- Coordinate and support 5S+1 activities across all site.
- Carry out periodic 5S+1 audits.
- Report TEOA metrics monthly.
- Coordinate and participate in kaizen events.
- Collaborate on internal audits.
- Process Owner, ensure compliance with items included in the Process house as well as ensure proper maintenance and annual review.
Qualifications and Experience required:
- Minimum of 3 years in industrial context
- Knowledge of continuous improvement tools
- Computer knowledge from the user's perspective
- Ability to train production line operators
- Ability to organize and define priorities
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Rigor and attention to detail
- Knowledge in LEAN Methodology
- Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt)
- Knowledge in Quality Tools
- Spoken and written English
