Job Overview
What You’ll Do:
- You will support and contribute to the success of your assigned High Power Connectors portfolio, learning to balance growth, profitability and operational execution under the guidance of senior product managers.
- This role focuses on developing foundational skills in strategic thinking, data‑driven decision‑making and building collaborative relationships across Sales, Engineering, Operations, and Marketing teams.
- You will be working within AD&M’s High-Power Connectors team, based in the UK. The position will have global responsibility for a portion of the High-Power Connectors portfolio and includes 10‑25% travel.
- Support a portfolio serving mission‑critical systems in commercial aerospace, defense, space and advanced mobility.
- This role involves learning to manage products with long service lives and rigorous customer qualification requirements across extreme operating environments including high temperatures, vibration, fluids and confined spaces.
Your New Role
Key focus areas:
- Support strategic portfolio planning by assisting with roadmap decisions that balance legacy and next‑generation programs while developing understanding of business strategy and profitability under senior product manager guidance.
- Support cross‑functional collaboration by working with engineering and operations teams on materials selection, performance tradeoffs, supply continuity and customer support activities.
- Contribute to customer relationship development by supporting technical discussions, building customer confidence through rigorous analysis and learning qualification processes for safety‑critical applications.
- Develop technical and commercial capability by contributing to connectivity solutions for mission‑critical systems while building expertise in reliability, compliance and regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrate strong learning agility and strategic curiosity by building technical depth alongside commercial awareness to support long‑term value creation in regulated, high‑impact industries where products directly support critical infrastructure and human safety.
Other Responsibilities
- Support market research activities including Voice of Customer initiatives, customer calls and competitive analysis under guidance from senior product managers.
- Contribute to product strategy development by supporting product roadmap planning and portfolio optimization through collaboration with global product and commercial teams.
- Support cross‑functional execution by collaborating with Sales, Engineering, Operations and Marketing teams to help achieve commercial, technical and operational objectives.
- Assist with business and financial analysis including pricing support while developing understanding of cost, margin and profitability drivers.
- Support product sustainment activities including process improvements, manufacturing transfers, supply chain optimization and end‑of‑life planning under senior guidance.
- Support commercial and limited new product introduction activities including demand forecasting for S&OP processes, responding to RFQs and sample requests, supporting capacity planning and assisting with product launch coordination and customer engagement.
