Apprentice Planner in Hastings

As an Apprentice Planner, you will gain hands‑on experience supporting the planning function within a busy manufacturing environment. You will learn how customer demand is translated into production plans, ensuring that materials, resources, and manufacturing capacity are aligned to deliver products on time and in full. Alongside practical workplace experience, you will complete the Level 3 Supply Chain Practitioner (FMCG) Apprenticeship through Oxford Professional Education Group , developing the knowledge and skills required for a successful career in Supply Chain Planning. • Support the Planning team with day-to-day planning activities.
• Use SAP to monitor customer orders, inventory levels, and production requirements.
• Assist in creating and updating production schedules.
• Monitor component availability and identify potential shortages.
• Work closely with Procurement, Manufacturing, and Customer Service teams to support business requirements.
• Help ensure customer orders are delivered on time and in full.
• Maintain accurate planning data and reports.
• Support the investigation and resolution of supply chain or production issues.
• A keen interest in Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Planning, or Logistics.
• Strong organisational and analytical skills.
• Good communication and relationship-building abilities.
• A proactive approach and willingness to learn.
• Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Basic IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
• GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
