Job Overview
This role is part of the Kitting production area. The role will involve assembling and packing parts of low and medium voltage kits for the Utilities business and is of a repetitive nature.
Job Responsibilities:
- Be aware of EH&S issues i.e. COSHH & Risk assessments.
- Adhere to working practices & procedures.
- Monitor & control quality.
- Keep up to date with day to day operations/new/existing products and complete work on time in line with process times.
- Maintain cleanliness of the area and equipment while applying 5S.
- Ensure that all customer targets are achieved.
- Carry out any other duties as requested by the Utilities Supervisor.
What your background should look like:
- Prior Kitting or Connectors experience not necessary but preferred.
- Training will be provided.
Personal Qualities:
- Flexibility to work overtime at short notice, in line with the business demands.
- Work on own initiative and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.

- Reliable.
Additional Information:
Note that the main position is in the Kitting production area but there could be a requirement when workload changes to move into the other production areas of the business.
