Te Aho o Te Kura Pounamu (Te Kura) is New Zealand's largest school with a roll of up to 24,000 ākonga (students) at any point of time. We provide personalised and authentic learning programmes through distance education from early childhood to NCEA Level 3, including to young adult and adult learners. Our ākonga are at the centre of all we do. Our vision is to enable our ākonga to achieve their educational and personal goals, empowering them to become engaged and contributing members of their communities.

  • Supporting ākonga to engage in their learning
  • Compile data and statistics for various reporting purposes
  • Maintaining files and information for Manager/Team
  • Schedule meetings and prepare agendas, presentations and take minutes
  • Ensure all business runs smoothly

As this is a busy role, we are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has excellent customer service skills and enjoys building strong working relationships. As well as this, you will bring:

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products and other administrative technology
  • Good interpersonal and written communication skills
