The role:
A great opportunity exists at our Hautapu branch with modern facilities to work on the latest construction equipment in the field. Develop your career, knowledge, skills and experience further within the heavy diesel industry.
Responsibilities include:
- Diagnose, maintain and repair construction equipment that is now in our client’s possession.
- Maintain continuing good relationships with customers and potential customers within the region.
- Actively work to ensure excellent daily communication with the workshop and parts department.
- Complete all paperwork as needed.
- Ensure timecards are completed daily showing the correct job number.
- Record stocks, oils and other material used against a job number.
Our ideal applicant will:
- You must hold a level 4 Heavy Diesel Mechanic qualification
- Have construction equipment experience or similar.
- Be a self-starter with initiative.
- Have used electronic diagnostic equipment in previous roles.
- Have hydraulics experience.
- Be fit and able.
- Know how to work hard and enjoy a laugh.
