Summary Of Duties

  • Experience managing social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies, social media trends, and audience engagement techniques.
  • Ability to create and schedule engaging content including posts, reels, stories, promotional graphics, and short-form videos.
  • Knowledge of paid digital advertising campaigns such as Facebook Ads, Instagram promotions, and sponsored content.
  • Proficiency in content creation and editing tools such as Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar platforms.
  • Excellent communication, marketing, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work with clients and teams professionally.
  • Ability to analyze social media insights, campaign analytics, and engagement metrics to optimize performance.
  • Strong creativity and branding skills with the ability to develop innovative promotional campaigns.
  • Experience coordinating digital promotions, influencer collaborations, and online marketing initiatives is an asset.
  • Ability to multitask, manage deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced media and marketing environment.
  • Basic understanding of photography, videography, and visual storytelling for social media content creation.
  • Knowledge of radio, entertainment, community media, or event promotions is considered an advantage.

Qualifications

  • Experience in social media management, digital marketing, content creation, or online brand promotion preferred.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
  • Knowledge of digital advertising, paid promotions, audience targeting, and campaign management.
  • Proficiency in content creation tools such as Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar editing platforms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong creative thinking abilities.
  • Ability to create engaging content including reels, stories, graphics, captions, and promotional videos.
  • Experience analyzing social media insights, engagement metrics, and campaign performance data.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Understanding of branding, online marketing strategies, and current digital media trends.
  • Basic photography, videography, and video editing skills are considered an asset.
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and collaborate effectively with clients and team members.
  • Postsecondary education in Marketing, Communications, Media, Digital Marketing, Business, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Experience in media, radio broadcasting, entertainment, or community promotions is considered an advantage.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages such as Hindi or Punjabi are considered an asset.
