We are TDS. We were established in 2003 to operate tenancy deposit schemes across the UK and to provide dispute resolution services in relation to tenancy deposits. We now operate tenancy deposit schemes in England and Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland from our head office in Hemel Hempstead and our other offices in Glasgow and Belfast. In 2022 we also launched the New Homes Ombudsman Service. We are collaborative and forward-thinking with our colleagues and customers at the heart of everything we do. With our proven success, it is necessary to expand our team to ensure the services we offer continue to make a difference.
We have a new opportunity within our Operations Team to join them as a Resolution Executive.
This is a permanent, full-time position that will be based in our TDS office in Hemel Hempstead and will follow our hybrid working policy of a minimum of 2 days in the office per week.
Some of the key responsibilities include:
- Supporting TDS’s dispute resolution activities to ensure the independence and effectiveness of these processes across all schemes.
- Proactively seeking opportunities to assist parties in resolving disputes without the need for adjudication across the various tenancy deposit schemes operated by TDS and its subsidiaries.
- Promptly processing applications when resolution efforts are unsuccessful.
- Assist in organising regular training events for TDS staff engaged in dispute resolution activities.
- Initially engage with parties verbally to mediate and assist them in reaching their own agreement.
- Reviewing deposit dispute cases.
To be considered for this opportunity you must be able to:
- Prioritise a busy workload effectively and demonstrate a thorough knowledge of the Scheme’s rules, applying them in practise.
- Demonstrate resolution experience
- Digest large volumes of information in electronic format.
- Demonstrate a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Analyse data, draw conclusions, and present findings clearly and concisely both orally and in writing.
- Study for the Propertymark Technical Award in Residential Lettings/Deposits Management.
