The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 ÂŁ per year.
This flagship programme, delivered in partnership with TDS, GMCA and the Nationwide Foundation, uses action research and behavioural‑insight‑informed interventions to understand and reduce unintentional non‑compliance among private landlords, with the aim of improving renting standards and supporting people in housing need.
We have a new 12‑month fixed‑term opportunity to join our Greater Manchester Good Landlord Charter/Landlord Support Hub team as a Landlord Support Manager.
Some key responsibilities include:
- Lead local engagement and delivery of the programme’s behavioural interventions across Greater Manchester, ensuring activities run to scope and timeline.
- Serve as primary point of contact for participating landlords and partners, providing guidance and support throughout their journey.
- Build and maintain relationships with landlords, letting agents, local authorities, tenants and other stakeholders to drive participation and compliance.
- Collaborate with evaluation and behavioural insight colleagues to refine interventions and contribute to data‑led learning and impact.
- Develop and run light‑touch campaigns and materials that support onboarding, participation and retention of landlords.
- Represent the programme at local meetings, workshops and events, championing the Charter and its objectives.
To be considered for this opportunity you must be able to:
- Proven experience in stakeholder engagement (e.g., landlords/agents, local authorities, housing or community partners).
- Strong project delivery skills - organised, outcomes‑focused, comfortable coordinating multiple activities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, able to translate guidance into clear, practical actions for landlords.
- Confident using data/feedback to iterate activity and report on progress.
- Knowledge of the Private Rented Sector or compliance/improvement programmes is ideal; behavioural insights exposure is a plus.
- Based in/near Greater Manchester and able to travel across the city region as needed.
