We are TDS. We were established in 2003 to operate tenancy deposit schemes across the UK and to provide dispute resolution services in relation to tenancy deposits. We now operate tenancy deposit schemes in England and Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland from our head office in Hemel Hempstead and our other offices in Glasgow and Belfast. In 2022 we also launched the New Homes Ombudsman Service. We are collaborative and forward‑thinking with our colleagues and customers at the heart of everything we do. With our proven success, it is necessary to expand our team to ensure the services we offer continue to make a difference.
This is a permanent, full‑time position that will be field‑based, and you may be eligible for car allowance. The areas you will be required to cover are Newcastle Upon Tyne, Sunderland, Durham, Cumbria, Leeds, York, Hull, Bradford, Sheffield, Northumberland and surrounding areas.
Some of the key responsibilities include:
- Responsible for new business within a designated territory. Spending time pursuing leads with key decision makers and achieving a quarterly acquisition target.
- Sell based on a clear framework, demonstrating why letting agents should use TDS.
- Use data and our CRM system to record all sales leads and/or customer accounts.
- Collaborate with our Sales, Client Success and Customer Operations teams to best serve customers, delivering outstanding service levels.
- Monitor TDS's competitors, products and market conditions.
- Represent TDS at localised events to build your sales pipeline.
The ideal candidate will have the following:
- Sales experience, ideally face to face (Minimum 4 years).
- Agency experience is preferred.
- Background in property is ideal but not essential.
- Full UK driving license (less than 6 points).
- Standard business software such as MS Office, Excel, CRM solutions (e.g., Salesforce) and video communication platforms (Zoom, Teams, etc).
- Proactive pursuit of success.
